We pride ourselves in having a stimulating range of events in the course of the garden year.  If you would like to purchase tickets, please contact the Garden Secretary for a form. Completed forms and cheques should be returned to us by post. 

WINTER WANDER

Sunday, 24 February 2013 11am-4pm 

Chase away those winter blues, wrap up warm and visit the garden when it is not normally open.  The Head Gardener will be on hand for tours around the garden and the Tea Room will be open.

SUMMER STROLLS 2013

From 6.00pm onwards an opportunity to relax and savour the night scents of the garden by candlelight, and maybe make up a party with a group of friends.  A glass of wine is served on arrival to enjoy as you explore the garden, and a delicious supper is served from 7.30pm onwards.  The Summer House and Garden Annex are available for parties of more than six.

AUTUMN OPEN DAY 2012

Friday, 12 October 2012  11am-4pm

As the nights draw in, Wollerton becomes awash with the brilliant colours of Autumn. Visit the garden when it is not normally open for ONE DAY ONLY this Autumn. Tints of Autumn colour on display amongst the asters, dahlia's, salvias and the vibrant eunonymous spindle.

The Tea Room will be open for soup, tea and cakes.

ART CLASS WINTER 2013

Tuesday 15 January - 19 March 2013 (1.30 - 3.30pm)

Edward Jenkins will be running this 10 week drawing & painting class. Beginners, keen amateurs and lapsed professionals are all welcome here at Wollerton in the Tea Room.

This 10 week course is designed to work towards developing the necessary skills & confidence using oil paints. You will be guided through the process from initial sketches exploring composition to a final outcome on canvas. Edward has 10 years teaching experience in this media.

Tea/Coffee and biscuits will be served.

DELIGHTFUL DAYS AT WOLLERTON OLD HALL GARDEN

CELEBRITY LECTURES AND EVENTS 2012

A whole day at Wollerton

The Wollerton Old Hall Garden Lectures are an opportunity to visit the garden when it is not normally open.  Stimulating lectures are given by experts in their own field.  The day starts at 10.30am with coffee and biscuits and then the lecture will commence at 11.00am, after which wine will be served in the Old Hall.  A 3-course seasonal lunch of home-cooked food will be served in the Courtyard Tea Room. Visitors are then free to explore the gardens and John and Lesley Jenkins will be on hand to answer any questions on gardening.  The day finishes at 3.30pm with tea and cake.
