Old Garden

Old Garden: photograph by Jane SebireSo called because it is the newest!  This is the fourth reincarnation.  The previous three had complex knot designs in box but failed due to box disease.  The current design is simple with two rows of clipped Portuguese laurel, either side of York stone path which in turn is inter-planted with camomile.  Beyond the laurels are four ancient oak obelisks entwined with clematis 'Royal Velours' and 'Purpurea Plena Elegans'.
