When Lesley and John bought Wollerton Old Hall in 1983, they would not have anticipated the level of interest, some 40 years later, in how they have developed the renowned garden, whilst modernising and extending a humble 16th Century House.
This very personal, one-off event, is a joint presentation covering the decisions that were made both inside and out, resulting in such curiosity from the many thousands of visitors.
This fascinating lecture will be held in the Panelled Room inside the home of John and Lesley Jenkins at Wollerton Old Hall. The day starts at 10.30am with coffee & biscuits, with the lecture commencing at 11.00am.
A 3-course seasonal lunch of home-cooked food and wine is then served in the Courtyard Tea-room. Following lunch, visitors can enter the garden at their leisure.
The day finishes at 3.30pm with afternoon tea & cake.
